LIFE
Mountains here, valleys there
One situation rising after another
Stormy days and raining seasons
Difficult situations and turbulent times
Happy hours and sad moments…
All these are all part of life.
Unforeseen accidents, unknown trials
Injustice done to the poor and voiceless
Economy crisis, loss of jobs
Paying off accrued debts and living just to make it through another day
Is all part of life
Spouses walking out of relationships
Children acting up and insolence rising daily…
One relationship going sour and another resurrecting
Friends backstabbing and beefing each other
People hating just because you are beautiful
Your confidence being mistaken for pride
Are all part of life experiences
A tsunami, hurricane Katrina, and a bomb blast…
Losing loved ones and not giving a chance to tell them how much they are loved
Parents having children they outlast…
The loss of properties in the midst of these storms
Is yet another life experience
Life sometimes hits one hard
Without an answer to the 'why's', 'when's', and 'how's'
But accepting whatever it throws at you, knowing fully well
It's another phase of life that must come and go
Life sometimes is unfair
Regardless of your race, religion, or gender
We all go through life…
If you haven't gone through yours, just keep on living
When it finally comes, don't throw in the towel
Know that you are experiencing what you cannot change
Our experiences only comes to teach
To tutor us about life
The wise would see life as such
While a fool will lose all hope in the midst of the turn
Embrace life and its occurrences and
You will live to tell what life taught you while walking its course…
Life is an unscripted page that we all turn…
